In Neverwhere, the main character Richard is getting ready to leave his boring normal life in London to be the main character in a Neil Gaiman fantasy and with a tiny bit of foreshadowing Neil Gaiman write Richard thinking:
That's where we are currently - in the middle of a multitude of life-altering events, approaching the proverbial bend in the road. There is very little I can say about our bends in the road, except that they are all confidential for now and they are all blessings.
