Nashville PRIDE Weekend

Daniel and I really started our weekend with a date night at one of our old favorites, Bella Napoli in Edgehill Village. I love finding old favorite restaurants that are soy free so I can still go. If you are in the area and have never been to Bella Napoli I highly recommend it, the food is authentic and magical. They also allow dogs on the patio, so I can see it becoming a quick favorite of ours during the warmer months.

Saturday Nashville PRIDE kicked off. First Daniel had a haircut (thank you Michael at Hawkins Barber Shop), when he got back we headed up for PRIDE. Each year that we go, Nashville PRIDE gets bigger and better. This year was no exception. We love seeing everyone be themselves, happy and free. Magnus loves PRIDE because he gets all this wonderful loving attention, and it's a record day for new followers on his Instagram.

Sunday we rode bikes. I missed last week because I had been down sick all week and didn't have the energy for it, so I was glad to be back on it this weekend. We took the bike out this time instead of riding directly from home. We tossed the bike in the back of the truck and headed to the Harpeth River Greenway. Jake was out of town this weekend so it was just Daniel and me. We did a 12.3+/- mile ride along the Harpeth River. It was an absolutely beautiful ride, and mostly shaded. There are a few places we plan on taking Magnus back for a walk & to play in the shallows.

After our ride we went home and cleaned up and my little brother, Aaron, stopped by to show me a new project he's working on and have a meal together. It was nice to spend time with him as always.

We ended the day with a 2.5+/- mile walk around home with Magnus.  He always loves a chance to get out and see the city.
