Second Anniversary Weekend | Stay-cation part one

What a wonderful weekend we had!

Daniel and I ran errands on Saturday after this haircut. We went by the Nashville Flea Market to walk with Magnus and everyone loved him in his sunglasses. I also found some great deals. Daniel grocery shopped while Magnus and I went to pick up his food and a new shirt for him at the pet store. After we got home we decided to take it easy since the marathon made traffic so fun. Daniel took the evening to get the new Trek tandem ready to ride.

Sunday Jake came over to join us for the maiden ride on the new tandem. The first half was terrifying! It's very different to ride than the tandems we've rented, but a few miles in Daniel got the hang of it, and about the time we started heading home, I got the hang of it too. We rode 9.33 miles all the way from the South Broadway neighborhood to Germantown, across downtown Nashville.

After our ride everyone headed home to get ready for the second part of the evening, Post Modern Jukebox at the Schermerhorn Symphony! Jake and a friend met us at the Omni Hotel for dinner at Kitchen Notes, a downtown favorite of ours. We had dinner then walked to the Symphony to pick up our tickets and head to our seats.

Post Modern Jukebox is absolutely amazing. If you haven't listened to them, I recommend looking them up on YouTube. They are a amazing group of independent artist that have come together to create something truly unique and beautiful. They promised to come back to Nashville next year, you should check them out!
