We had an excellent weekend at home. Saturday we went to Nashville's Cultural Festival at Centennial Park and had a great time. We got to try Serbian food which was delicious. I think I will dream about those potatoes for a long time. It was a really warm day and when we came home, we were exhausted so we had a nice relaxing afternoon and evening around the house. Traffic was insane for the Ed Sheeran concert at Nissan Stadium, so we would've had to walk anywhere we wanted to go anyway.
Sunday we had a 12+ mile bike ride in Shelby Bottoms. This time we started from the airpark to see how that was. It was an absolutely beautiful ride; some of the trees (the sycamores particularly) have just started to turn for fall and the weather was perfect. About the time we got to the main park entrance it started to rain which was perfect timing because we could keep dry under the buildings at the entrance.
Sunday evening was another lazy evening. We tried to recreate those potatoes and though our potatoes were delicious, they were not the dreamy Serbian potatoes from Saturday.
This week I (Ammi) also launched my company's new website, CandEDesign.com, announced the donation of a website for the Phelps Family Auction in Morgantown, KY and kicked off three discount offers for the end of the year.
We planted our fall flowers on the balcony this week - the pops of color make me happy. Philips Hue had a sale on light strips so I got two this weekend. I love them, I want them everywhere in the whole house.
It was a productive week and a great relaxing weekend with the family.
