Daniel and I had a busy weekend of chorin', but in between being responsible we still had a great time. Saturday on the way to the grocery we went to my good friend Michael Dukes store opening. He's opening a furniture store called Royal Circus in the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood and I cannot wait to replace every stick of furniture I own with beautiful, well-priced pieces from his store. I believe it's just what Nashville needed and will be a great success. We also had a wonderful soy-free meal at Husk on Saturday. The kitchen was wonderful about altering menu items to be soy allergy friendly. Saturday evening Aaron & Jamie stopped by for a visit before they headed out for dinner. We were going to join them, but weren't quiet done with our Saturday chores.
Sunday we started the day with a bike ride. Our day got a little thrown off because the solenoid in the truck went out and we had to ride the bike home to get supplies to get the truck started and home. We still accomplished all of our Sunday chores and got to eat at Marche's, which is also a wonderful soy allergy friendly place to eat. It was absolutely delicious.
All in all a great weekend, but they are never long enough.
