I love summer; the activities, everything is alive and thriving, and daylight lasts forever.
This week we've been obsessed with the the game Harry Potter Wizards Unite. It's a GPS game on our phones that you walk around to different areas of the city to earn points and collect items. If you play and would like to add us our friends codes are:

While out playing wizards we've gotten some amazing photos of Nashville. Daniel and I are having a hard time with Gino's East Pizza being in the neighborhood. It's so hard to turn down a deep dish pizza or a slice anytime. The slices are a quarter of a pizza!
Wednesday we made it to pottery late because our area lost power, along with at least 4 major stoplights. This made getting out of the neighborhood difficult until it was restored. Despite getting there late we had a productive evening. The round box I made last week was ready for the kiln. I get more excited every time I see the photo.
Thursday was a hot one. I walked to Deadrick street for Street Eats. I met up with fellow Butler-Countian-turned-Nashvillian, Casey. It's always good to catch up. Thursday evening another storm rolled in and rained out Peter Frampton at the Ascend Amphitheater. The storm was especially beautiful because you could see clear sky with the sunset below the clouds in the distance.
Friday I treated myself to summer nails from Annie at Parlour & Juke. I picked a fruit theme for summer, I've gotten so many compliments. After my nails I met up with Daniel and the Engineering Team from his work for his work picnic. I said hello, then went for a walk - aka to level up on Daniel in our Wizards Unite game. Daniel had ridden there with a coworker, knowing I would be in the neighborhood to take him home so it worked out well.
Saturday was Porter Flea and there is ALWAYS so many cute things there. We only left with four store purchases, which was really hard. We got several business cards for things to get when we have more square footage and more wall space for art.
Sunday was for chorin'. Daniel built a WordPress plugin for the first time and I cleaned around the house and sorted my closet. We were both surprised about how easy it went. We took a leisurely stroll after it started cooling off and Nashville looked amazing.
