Travel Day | Denver to Winter Park

Daniel was nice enough to get me a massage for my birthday before we left Denver, so the first thing I did when I got up was walk upstairs in our B and B and have a wonderful 2 hour massage. It was absolutely wonderful, all the tension that had been building for the past few days excursions was wiped clean for our adventure tomorrow.

Then we headed to Saucy Bombay for our last (4th) meal there. It was amazing, as was the first three time.

Afterward, we visited a Pro shop called Christy Outdoor Shop to get some last minute things that the stores had already put away in Nashville for Spring. It was a great store and they were super helpful.

Then we headed to the airport to meetup with Home James Shuttle Service. We rode with two big families of teenagers. We were very relieved to not be in the van with the mom with two elementary school aged kids, one of the kids kept playing on the yellow line on the island on which we waited for the shuttles. My anxiety could not handle a kid so close to the road, just hopping carefree as commercial vans and buses drove past. I'm not judging, just commenting on my own anxiety level around that behavior.

The ride up was nice and beautiful. Not being as comfortable in the mountains as my wonderful husband I had to read some of my book while the views were particularly precarious. We took some beautiful photos out the windows.

We arrived at Winter Park in time for dinner and sunset. It is beautiful. We're going to enjoy our lovely view and rest up for tomorrow.
