I’m thrilled to introduce Aunt Ammi Reads! As a long-distance auntie, I’ve been looking for ways to connect with my niblings, and what better way than by sharing some of my favorite children’s books? I’ll be reading stories that are no longer under copyright, sourced from Project Gutenberg, and providing links for you to download them in your preferred ebook format or read them in your browser.

For those who love a physical copy, I’ll also share a link to purchase the book from your local bookstore via Bookshop.org. I don’t receive any compensation—I simply want to support independent bookstores. Plus, since these books are all in the public domain, you might even find a beautiful edition at your local used bookstore, which is a fantastic and sustainable option!
